Julie's wake up call occurred when she had to sit down in the shower to catch her breath. This moment led her to coming to our gym in the spring of 2017. Since then she has lost 56 pounds, 4 dress sizes, 4 pant sizes and 2 shirt sizes. Not to mention her outlook on life and herself has completely changed. Carol Rodriguez turns fifty this year and she is in better shape today than when she turned 40. She has actually been a long time friend and one of our first members at CSCF. Turning 40, nearly 10 years ago, led Carol and I to meet and her to beginning her CrossFit journey. In 2010, at the age of 41, Carol was on the College Station CrossFit Affiliate Team at Regionals. He is 5 years clean and is now pursuing a PHD from Texas A&M in Health Education specifically in substance abuse and alcoholism. He is determined to help as many people as possible so they don't struggle like he did. Alex has come a very long way in his health and fitness.
