Larry Hollingsworth, is 53 years old. Today he shares his incredible journey of juggling the ebbs and flows of life and working towards progressing in physical fitness. Larry began his fitness feats in 2005 till 2007; during which he lost an incredible 100lbs (beginning at four hundred pounds and then cutting down to 295lbs). After suffering a terrible car crash he was thrown off kilter for almost thirteen years. Just a few months ago Larry clicked on a weekly BoomFit newsletter email, met with Charlie, then began his adventure back. He successfully lost 24lbs on the 6-Week Challenge and since has continued to shave off weight. He is a wonderful example that anyone can bounce back from years of being out of habit, along with showing the importance of maintaining the habit to ensure time doesn’t slip away.

Andrew Loring, 32 years old, shares his fitness journey on the podcast today. Andrew and his wife have 3 little girls and are originally from Maine. He had no ties to Texas A&M and moved down to College Station and joined the faculty at Texas A&M in the Mays Business School. Andrew states in his interview that he doesn’t approach fitness like many others in that he doesn’t aspire to accomplish a futuristic goal. He works out because he needs to. Working out gives him fuel for the day. It motivates him and gives him clarity. His words exactly are, “Working out gives me what I need to exist on a daily basis.” His perspective is powerful. Adopting some or all of his perspective when it comes to your fitness might be exactly what you need to get you through this time of having to stay home. Enjoy!

Tyler Stillwell, 27, shares his incredible fitness journey on the podcast today. Tyler knows what it feels like to weigh 500 pounds. From an early age he knew he wanted a family, he wanted kids and has had a deep conviction that he did not want his parents to have to bury him so he started his weight loss journey. As a freshman in high school Tyler weighed 324 ponds then by the time he graduated he weighed 478.8. In the next three years he worked with a personal trainer and got down to 232 pounds. Then life circumstances occurred and he got back up to 377 pounds in the next 2-3 years. Today Tyler weighs 241 pounds. His story is powerful. It is a great reminder that no one can lose weight for you. It has to be your decision. You will be amazed and inspired by his fitness journey. Enjoy!

This will create some new challenges with people having to be home non stop. Even though they are still busy with kids and work from home they now have the ability to graze and eat all day. Todd Emerson, 40 years old, has recently lost 19 pounds of body fat in the first 6 weeks as a member of the gym. Today he shares his fitness journey. The breaking point for him had to do with a Nasa t-shirt that his son asked him to wear. The shirt didn't fit along with several other items of clothing he owned. That was it. Vincent (31) and Rachel (27) Adams began their 6-week challenge together in November. They were coming into the program with different goals and different backgrounds. Vincent had a background as an elite gymnast but had slipped out of the workout routine and was struggling to find motivation to even go to the gym. Rachel was facing a difficult time emotionally and needed to dial in her eating habits. They both discovered a program that actually worked and a new community to plug into. Since they finished their challenge they have continued to workout, often times together, and this experience has connected them in a new way. You will be inspired by their fitness journey. Enjoy!

Amanda Fleming, 47 years old, shares her fitness journey on the podcast today. She is no stranger to fitness however she had no idea what type of experience was in store for her when she started her 6-week challenge in November of 2018. Amanda has fully embraced the community and culture at CSCF/BoomFit. She shares how it resembles her experience being a military family and the connection between the comradery of other families who had family members deployed overseas. There was a bond created.
